Day one in Rome brings gelato, pizza, pasta, more ice cream, and jet lag. We reached here early in the morning and roamed around until check in. Our hotel is right in the center so we roamed around the area which included the Trevi fountain.
Rome is such a beautiful city and I cannot wait to go and visit all of the history that is imbedded in the cobbled streets.
Rome does involve walking, but the food here will trump the calories we burn. Each meal is so fantastic and the sights are amazing. I cannot wait for the rest of the gorgeous views!
