Our second day in Lake Nakuru started with an early morning game drive. We woke up, ate our breakfast, and left for the park. There was an abundance of animals in the park. We even visited a viewpoint which gave us panoramic views of the lake and some flamingoes.
The drivers basically know the parks inside and out and our driver was the best. He took us to this wonderful waterfall where we stopped to take pictures and enjoy the view.
We were given the opportunity to go for an afternoon game drive but we decided not to go on the game drive. Lake Nakuru Park is not that big of a park and we had seen all of the animals that could have been spotted.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at Lake Nakuru and got a good taste of what was to come in Masai Mara!
