The Amer Fort in Jaipur is one of the famous landmarks of the city that attracts tourists from all around the world. Entrance into the fort can be very exciting if you like elephants. I was not feeling well on this day, so my mom and I made our journey up by car. But, my sister and dad made the journey up by elephant! The pictures looked beautiful and they would definitely recommend it, I just wish I was feeling better so I could have done it myself.
The fort is beautiful with so much history. Did you know the current king of Jaipur is only 19? I definitely looked around for him lol. It was interesting to see the opulence of the fort and hear about how it was used in the past.
This photo above is actually from the Hawa Mahal. The Hawa Mahal is the number one tourist attraction in Jaipur and is definitely worth visiting. We did not visit the inside, but our guide took us to a cafe on the opposite street to take photos, he knew us well.
Overall, the Amer Fort is beautiful and serves up great photo opportunities. I would definitely visit!
