Jerash

To be honest, we were originally going to skip Jerash, this roman city in Jordan. We have visited Volubilis in Morocco and felt that this was going to be the same. Normally, we would not forgo seeing something like this but our travel agent ____ urged us to go, and we are glad we did. It is very different, that Volubilis and is gorgeous. It is well-preserved and proved for great photos!

I love hearing about history and how civilizations lived. I aways loved history in school and traveling has been a great way for me to see and learn hands on. Jerash was extremely beautiful and I would recommend it to any one traveling here. I always remind myself that I am extremely lucky to be able to travel and witness history. That is something I will never forget.

It got hot during the day and it was amazing compared to the crappy weather in Philadelphia. Did you know Amman used to be called Philadelphia in Roman times? Amazing right? Another amazing thing was my outfit! I am wearing the amazing chino pants from Anthropologie that are perfect and so easy to wear and style! We had a great day in Jerash and I was so glad that we didn't skip it!
