Park Life // 6.12.16

When my mother and I found out my aunt would be out of town, we called dibs on the apartment for a few days. The day after school ended we departed for our pleasure trip to my favorite place, NYC. The apartment is very close to Central Park South so we took a stroll in the park on a bright and sunny day. I love walking through the park and taking in the people and the scenery behind me. It was a perfect but hot day, so this breezy dress was perfect. I had recently bought it from Banana Republic and I knew I had to wear it in New York one day. We stopped in this location because it was perfect. It was a little away from the bikers and tourists, but just perfect for people-watching and picture-taking. I have so many wonderful memories from Central Park, including bike rides and strolls and this is another one to add to the list.

Because it was the Puerto Rican parade, many entrances to the park were closed so we had to make some detours to get out. I was so glad we stumbled upon this picturesque gazebo. It was on a sort of a hill and had peaceful vibes. There were a few people there relaxing and once I stepped in, I wanted to  just sit there and take in the view. Hopefully, my future contains days like this one and many strolls in Central Park surrounded by the sun and friends.
