Mexican Paradise: Los Cabos

I always look forward to family vacations. You can probably tell, but we take several vacations throughout the year. Mostly one vacation is always with family friends. We have been to other destinations with family friends and this one was going to be as fun as the others. We took a flight from Philly International Airport to Phoenix and from Phoenix to Los Cabos. My sister and I are total mermaids, so we were in the pool from the minute we reached to the closing of the pool. We were staying the Riu Palace which I would highly recommend, the service and resort are wonderful. The first couple of days we didn't do much, but the excursions started after. We started with Parasailing and then took a wonderful 3 hour boat ride around the famous Arc of Los Cabos. We had rented "La Gringa" which was amazing. The boat had two seats in the front for people to sit on and a speaker for music. They also had food and drinks and the staff was wonderful. All three families had a wonderful time dancing, laughing and later swimming. We went snorkeling and I tried paddle-boarding with a near-death experience.
The next day we went for an ATV ride which was absolutely scenic. Later that day we had a scuba lesson to prep for our dive the next morning. I had never been scuba-diving before so it was scary. But once we got into the water, it was an amazing experience. I couldn't believe I had gone 45 feet under water and had seen fish and marine life up-close. That was the highlight of my trip.
Overall I had an amazing time relaxing after school ended and my trip to Cuba. I had a great time with friends and family and I can't wait to see where I go next.
