Yesterday was my 19th birthday, and I spent it like I normally do in NYC. I like to spend a whole day in the city and eat good food. My family and I all go together and just have a good day talking and spending quality time. This birthday, we had a party to go to in the mid-morning in the New York suburbs, but we left early to get into the city to spend some time. Unfortunately, my dad could not come because someone had to stay home to take care of our new puppy Captain, and it felt weird without him there.
We started our time in the city with shopping. I wanted to check out the Supreme store, but there was a line to get in! I decided against it, and we ended up getting ice cream from Oddfellows and then heading to some stores. We ended the night eating at Bar Pitti, which I highly recommend. The weather was hot, but I enjoyed my birthday in the city. It's days like these that I feel super blessed and lucky to have such wonderful family and friends!
