Toledo is such a beautiful city. We decided to do a day trip from Madrid with an hour bus ride which was painless and fast. The town is in La Mancha, if anyone is familiar with Cervantes' Don Quijote this is where it takes place! The old architecture made me feel like I was in Italy and I loved it. We visited the Cathedral which was absolutely stunning and I would recommend it 100%. We then walked around and found this beautiful bridge to see the mountains and the river flowing underneath it. The historical meaning behind the town and the cathedral is amazing and I would recommend visiting this town if you have an extended stay in Madrid. It is an easy hour ride by bus and has so much charm to offer!
