If you know me and are reading this, you know that I do not dress this fabulously (if I may so myself) on a daily basis around town. My work outfits are more accomodating to the stereotypical near-freezing temperatures of my office, so they include many layers and tend to be more comfortable. Nonetheless, my daily work attire is my outlet to try to incorporate pieces like this blue blazer. I have made a pact with myself to dress as ostentatiously as I can as often as I can. This means, wearing an outfit like this to a local brunch, or even wearing a dressy dress for a dinner with family. As hindu's, we beleive in reincarnation, so my family has this phrase: Your Body Only Lives Once. Why waste this life dressing in something that does not truly reflect you? I want to live life to the fullest, including dressing like there is no tomorrow.
