Reminder: when you go to the beach bring your swimsuit! We started our day off by driving 20 minutes to the infamous Sullivan's Island. It is a beautiful island with a quiet ocean and scenic views. The houses are beautiful too. I wasn't very keen on swimming in the ocean, I never have been, so I wore my favorite swimsuit top as a shirt under my overalls. Big mistake. The water was warm and inviting but alas, only my legs enjoyed. It was very hot so we did not stay out much. We then returned to out hotel to rain and thunder. We hope the storm passes so we can go out and enjoy some more!
